The name Plas Hyfryd translated, literally means ‘Lovely Place’, and when you pass the front entrance and are greeted with the palatial staircase and a warm welcome it’s quite easy to see why.
Although little is known of it’s history, Thomas Thomas, a retired surgeon built ‘Belmore House’ and lived there until 1829. The house was designed by James Hughes who was responsible for much of Narberth’s development at the time. In 1993 the hotel was acquired by its current proprietors who have invested heavily to extend, upgrade and lovingly restore the building to its former glory.
The hotel boasts a beautiful restaurant, a cosy bar, and function suites, the larger of which can host up to 120 comfortably.
Plas Hyfryd is centrally located within the county of Pembrokeshire which makes it the perfect choice for family attractions and the Pembrokeshire Coast alike.
Guests can enjoy the beauty of the UK’s only Coastal National Park – literally minutes from the hotel. So what you waiting for, come and explore!
